Transitioning from Relaxed Hair to Natural
Many woman have decided to leave the relaxers alone. Well,once you stop relaxing what comes next? How do you deal with the two textures of hair that you now have on your head, one thick and one thin.Many of you.have chosen to do the big chop aka cutting all the relaxer hair off. But for those of you that have chosen to let your relaxers grow out what are you going to do? Leave your comments and I will reply with some of the choices you have if you don't want to cut all the relaxed hair off.
Jealousy in the Salon
Have any of you stylists or nail techs experienced hate or jealousy at the workplace? For example your client calls the salon phone and another stylists tells them your not there even though you are? Or you quote a price to a new client and one of the other stylists ur nail techs pulls her to the sides and says " she don't do hair that well you need to come to me and my price is cheaper".Dang people why can't we all Just get along lol. There is enough work for everyone if we just learn to work together.
Walkiins or Appointments
Do you.guys prefer to have a set appointment when.you go.to the hair salon,or would you rather show up whenever you had the free time to get your hair done? Many salons are by appointment only these days because they want and like to know how there day is going.to be. I personally am appointment only at my salon and I love it. The day runs smoothly and I don't have a bunch of angry woman in the salon huffing and puffing because they have been there all day. By setting individual appointment times clients can come get their hair done and still.have time left in their day to run errands because most women go to the salon on their day off. So appointment setting can run.smoothly as long as your Stylists isnt one of those that Over books appointments.

Natural hair growth
Does natural hair grow quicker than relaxed hair? In my expertise I would say yes.And the reason for that is,when your hair is natural and You take proper care of it will be strong and healthy.And stronger healthier hair means less breakage and fewer split ends. When your hair is relaxed its weak because the relaxer has to break down all the layers of your hair strands to get it straight and its always dry.And dry hair over time will pop and shed leading to hair loss and lack of hair growth

Co Washing
Ladies and gentleman conditioner Does Not clean your hair and scalp. The purpose of conditioner is to soften and detangle.the hair. Unless the Conditioner states that it is a cleansing condition it is not cleaning your hair. In my experience I have noticed that most women that co wash have a terrible case of product buildup and the hair and scalp is really really dry. So with that being said would you use lotion to clean your body, No you would not you would use soap right. Well the same applies for your hair your scalp is still part of your skin and you need to clean it with shampoo to get it clean

Aloft Hotel
For my 1 year anniversary my husband and I stayed at the Aloft Hotel in Charleston S.C. The hotel was really nice,it had a bar and a lounge area downstairs in the lobby. It had a indoor pool and a exercise room.The rooms were nice but they were a little small for my taste

Django
OMG that movie was soooo good Jamie Foxx really did his thing.There was alot of action and alot of killing in the movie. Leonardo D. did really good in his role also. The movies was about 3hours long and I would definitly advise everyone to go and see it.
