When a client walks into a salon all stylists need to check their hair and scalps for any abnormal disorders on their head. If something is present like a fungus,open sore ,bugs etc.... The stylists should calmly and discretely tell the client that they cannot get their hair done because of a scalp condition and that they should seek medical attention immediately so a Doctor can determine what's going on. As cosmetologists we encounter many different things on a daily basis since we are working with the public and there hair.So to protect ourselves and our clients We Must take the time to clean,sanitize and analyze while we are at or in the salon.
